EBay Inc. said June 14 that Chief Technology Officer Steve Fisher will move to the role of senior vice president of payments.

The California company said earlier in 2018 that it will start managing payments on its marketplace platform. In April it confirmed that it signed a new agreement with PayPal Holdings Inc. after renegotiating an operating agreement expiring in July 2020.

EBay said Mohan Patt, vice president of core product experience, and Mazen Rawashdeh, vice president of platform engineering, will co-lead its core product and technology division. Patt will lead the core product experience team, while Rawashdeh will lead the platform engineering team.

Meanwhile, Fisher will oversee eBay's overall payments initiative, including strategy, business, risk, product and engineering.

The three executives will each report to eBay CEO Devin Wenig.
