Danielle Pletka and Michael Ranger have joined the board ofCovanta Holding Corp.,according to a company statement.

Pletka serves as senior vice president of foreign anddefense policy studies at the AmericanEnterprise Institute, a public policy research organization.Ranger is co-founder and senior managing director of , a privateequity investment firm.
