Innogy breaks ground on 33-MW wind farm in Poland

Innogy SE started construction of the 33-MW Zukowice onshore wind project in Poland.

The German energy company won the contract for the Zukowice project in the first Polish onshore wind auction in November 2018, according to a May 23 news release. The wind farm will host 11 turbines manufactured by Nordex SE and is expected to begin operations in 2020.

Innogy currently operates a portfolio of eight onshore wind projects with a total capacity of more than 240 MW in Poland.
