Condor Resources Inc. said Dec. 29 that the planned drill program has kicked off at its Ocros copper project in Peru, after receiving approval from the Peruvian Ministry of Energy and Mines.

Compania Minera Casapalca SA, which holds the right to earn up to a 70% interest in the project, has drilled the first hole at the project.

The program aims to test the continuity of the mineralization over an approximate area of 1.5 square kilometers centered around the adits of the historic Eldorado mine, where previous work confirmed mineralization on two levels and over 325 meters on each level.
