Members Plus CU completes merger with Everett CU

Massachusetts-based Everett CU's merger into in-state peer Members Plus CU was effective Oct. 1, according to the latter's website.

The Massachusetts Division of Banks approved the merger Sept. 26. As part of the merger transaction, Members Plus will amend its by-laws to include Everett's current membership eligibility and provide for certain other clarifications, according to the state regulator's September activity report.

As of June 30, Everett CU had $49.0 million in assets and Members Plus CU had $254.7 million in assets, based on S&P Global Market Intelligence data.
