Informatics Education fiscal Q2 loss widens 52.0% YOY

4911474 said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 came to a loss of S$851,250, compared with a loss of S$560,000 in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin dropped to negative 25.1% from negative 11.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue fell 28.4% year over year to S$3.4 million from S$4.7 million, and total operating expenses fell 14.1% year over year to S$5.0 million from S$5.8 million.
