RJio, RCom get government green light for spectrum sharing deal

Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. and hassecured the Indiangovernment's approval for their spectrum sharing agreement in nine circles, The Times of India reported April 22.

The approval would allow the two firms to provide 4Gservices on 10MHz block in 800 MHz band in Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar PradeshEast, Odisha, Bihar, Haryana, Assam, Himachal Pradesh and North East.

Reliance Communications is targeting May 4 as launch datefor the 4G services.
