Average new home prices in 70 major cities in China rose 0.3% in November from October, Reuters reported, based on its calculations from National Bureau of Statistics data released Dec. 18.
Month over month, prices for newly built houses in seven cities fell 0.1% to 0.3%, while remaining unchanged in Beijing, Shanghai, Zhengzhou and Wuhan. New home prices in first-tier cities fell 0.1% in November from the previous month.
Compared with 2016, new home prices increased 5.1% in November, Reuters said. Prices dropped between 0.2% and 3.2% year over year in 11 cities, while the year-over-year increases in first-tier cities fell for the 14th consecutive month in November, down 0.3 percentage point from October.
