AssuredPartners Inc. acquired Roseville, Calif.-based First Service Insurance Agents & Brokers Inc.

The acquired entity's 28-member team will remain under the operational leadership of founders Doug Lindley and Ed Barr. The deal is part of AssuredPartners' operational expansion in California.

First Service provides specialized coverage to contractors and reports annualized revenues of $5 million.
