Temasek tops ranking of largest foreign investors in Chinese bank stocks

The 20 largest foreign institutional investors in Chinese bank stocks, traded at home or in Hong Kong, held a combined 74.36 billion shares as of Nov. 7, for a market value of US$62.40 billion as of Nov. 16, S&P Global Market Intelligence data showed. The analysis is based on most-recent company disclosures.

Singaporean state investment company Temasek Holdings (Pte.) Ltd. is the top investor in Chinese lenders, accounting for 25.9% of the stakes held by the 20 largest investors as of Nov. 7.
