Sandy Spring projects $5.1M reduction in DTA value

Sandy Spring Bancorp Inc. estimates that the new corporate tax rate will reduce the value of its net deferred tax asset by $5.1 million.

The Olney, Md.-based company will record the amount as an additional income tax expense in the fourth quarter.
