3i Group Plc said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Sept. 30 amounted to 61 Great British pence per share, an increase of 418.6% from 12 pence per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was £591.3 million, an increase of 422.7% from £113.1 million in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 281.3% on an annual basis to £980.0 million from £257.0 million, and total operating expenses increased 6.0% from the prior-year period to £53.0 million from £50.0 million.
Reported net income rose 529.1% year over year to £944.0 million, or 98 pence per share, from £150.1 million, or 16 pence per share.
