Pak Suzuki Motor profit beats consensus by 24.1% in Q2

4913820 said its second-quarter normalized net income was 17.01 Pakistani rupees per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 13.71 rupees per share.

EPS climbed year over year from 5.98 rupees.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 1.40 billion rupees, an increase from 492.2 million rupees in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 6.9% from 3.2% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 32.1% year over year to 20.35 billion rupees from 15.41 billion rupees, and total operating expenses increased 24.6% on an annual basis to 18.41 billion rupees from 14.77 billion rupees.
