RNINL said May 9 that drilling has started at the Cuba copper-goldprospect within its Doolgunna copper project in Western Australia.
As the company announced in April, the drill program at Cuba willcomprise up to eight reverse circulation holes to a depth of about 450 metersto target the target's prospective volcanic hosted massive sulfide horizon, which is proximal to SandfireResources NL's DeGrussa and Monty copper-gold discoveries.
The holes will also provide a platform for follow-updownhole electromagnetic surveys on the prospects' targeted copper-goldmineralization.
According to RNI, the drilling and the downholeelectromagnetic surveys at Cuba are expected to take up to five weeks to becompleted, while the assays and geochemical analysis will take a further four weeks.
