Capital Power Corp. closed a C$150 million bought-deal offering of cumulative minimum rate reset preference shares, series 9. The shares were sold at C$25 apiece.
The company received C$25 million in additional gross proceeds from the sale of 1 million shares to underwriters, according to an Aug. 9 release. TD Securities Inc. and National Bank Financial Inc. co-led the syndicate of underwriters.
The shares began trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol CPX.PR.I.
