Retail real estate investment trust InvenTrust Properties Corp. promoted Christy David, senior vice president, general counsel and secretary, to executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary.

The company also named Amanda Black to its board of directors and audit committee.

Black serves as a managing director and regional portfolio manager of privately held real estate investment advisory firm Northwood Securities.
