Kopparbergs Bryggeri said its third-quarter normalized net income came to 3.20 Swedish kronor per share, a gain from 1.58 kronor per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 66.0 million kronor, a gain from 32.4 million kronor in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 11.1% from 6.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew 16.4% year over year to 593.0 million kronor from 509.3 million kronor, and total operating expenses rose 8.4% year over year to 476.9 million kronor from 440.1 million kronor.
Reported net income increased 96.3% on an annual basis to 89.7 million kronor, or 4.35 kronor per share, from 45.7 million kronor, or 2.22 kronor per share.
As of Nov. 26, US$1 was equivalent to 8.74 Swedish kronor.
