Schroders makes management changes to strengthen investment business

British asset manager Schroders PLC named Johanna Kyrklund group chief investment officer, as part of several senior management changes to strengthen its client-focused investment business.

Kyrklund will assume the new role alongside her current post as global head of multi-asset investments, Schroders said.

The company appointed Charles Prideaux in a newly created post as global head of investment. Prideaux will be responsible for management, oversight and development of Schroders' investment platform along with the environmental, social and governance team and data insights unit.

Additionally, Schroders named Carolina Minio-Paluello global head of products, solutions and quant. Minio-Paluello, who was global head of solutions at Lombard Odier Investment Managers Holding SA, will be in charge of product, solutions and quant investment capabilities, which also includes product strategy, development, governance and marketing.

All three individuals will collaborate across the firm's investment desks focusing on investment performance, Schroders said.

Meanwhile, the company named Lieven Debruyne global head of distribution, replacing John Troiano, who will retire at the end of 2019. Schroders noted that Debruyne will continue in his role as CEO of Asia Pacific until a successor is appointed.
