Aurgent Resource Corp. said Sept. 22 that it will change its name to First Cobalt Corp.

Trading under the new name will start at the open of markets on Sept. 23 under the symbol FCC.

The company believes the new name aligns with its focus on cobalt, and it will help secure additional financing and new strategic acquisition opportunities.
