Woolworths launches $2B medium-term note program

Woolworths Group Ltd. on Dec. 16 launched a US$2 billion medium-term note program.

The Australian retailer said it will apply to have notes issued under the program listed on the Singapore Exchange. The company said it will use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes.

Citigroup Global Markets Ltd. will act as arranger, while Citicorp International Ltd. will act as fiscal agent. Citibank NA London branch will act as both the paying and transfer agent, while Citigroup Pty. Ltd. will act as the agent in Australia.
