S&P affirms Deutsche Bank México's ratings

S&P Global Ratings on July 22 affirmed Deutsche Bank México S.A. Institución de Banca Múltiple'slong- and short-term national counterparty credit ratings at mxBBB+ and mxA-2. Theoutlook on the long-term rating is stable.

The action also reflects the change on the bank's business positionto "very weak" from "weak" as a result of the reduction of itsoperations in the country.

The rating agency highlighted the bank's funding average as belowits peers, in addition to its adequate liquidity deriving from very liquid governmentinstruments to fulfill short-term liquidity requirements.
