S&P Global Ratings has affirmed Enova International Inc.'s B issuer credit rating with anegative outlook.
The rating agency lowered its financial risk profile score onEnova to "aggressive" from "significant" to reflect the company'sincreasing leverage. Given competitive headwinds and possible negative outcomesfrom CFPB regulatory changes, S&P believes the company could have challengeskeeping its consolidated leverage in line with historical norms.
The negative outlook reflects S&P's opinion that Enova'scredit profile could decline to a slightly weaker level than its rating would suggestwithin the next year.
