Norway's Equinor ASA extended its contract with Oceaneering International Inc. for support for its onshore and offshore facilities in Norway until December 2020, according to a March 13 release.
The contract, which covers the provision of maintenance, reliability and integrity management services, was originally granted to Oceaneering's integrity business in 2005 and was competitively tendered in December 2013.
In particular, Oceaneering will develop maintenance programs and procedures that will be managed from Norway. In addition, the company's asset integrity business, under a separate agreement, will provide maintenance engineering from Aberdeen, U.K; Houston; and Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
Financial details were not disclosed.
