Victoria PLC fiscal H1 profit climbs YOY

Victoria PLC said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Oct. 3 came to 5 Great British pence per share, a gain of 33.2% from 3 pence per share in the first half ended Sept. 27, 2014.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was £3.4 million, a gain from £1.6 million in the first half ended Sept. 27, 2014.

Total revenue rose on an annual basis to £105.6 million from £39.9 million, and total operating expenses grew on an annual basis to £98.6 million from £37.0 million.

Reported net income totaled £1.9 million, or 3 pence per share, compared to a loss of £6.1 million, or a loss of 13 pence per share, in the first half ended Sept. 27, 2014.
