Royal Bank of Canada appointed Wendy Phillis managing director of governance and regulatory solutions in Europe and Asia-Pacific for its investor and treasury services unit, Thomson Reuters' IFR reported Aug. 7.

Phillis joins RBC from ICAP Plc, where she served as group chief risk and compliance officer.

Prior to joining ICAP in 2014, Phillis was COO for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at State Street Corp. unit State Street Global Advisors Funds Distributors LLC.
