Loomis Sayles & Co. LP has hired Michael Meyer as a securitized strategist for illiquid and real assets.

Meyer joined the company's securitized asset team that provides strategy recommendations, research and trading on more than $23.6 billion of securitized assets. In this newly created role, Meyer will focus on capturing private debt and equity investment opportunities for clients across a broad range of financial and real assets. He is based in Boston.

Meyer previously was a senior analyst and COO of asset based value strategy at Perella Weinberg Partners LP.
