Swedbank names internal audit head; KBC exec joins unit; new ABN Amro director

Swedbank

Swedbank AB (publ) named Ana-Maria Matei its new head of internal audit, effective April 1, 2020.

Matei was most recently part of the top management at Svenska Handelsbanken AB (publ)'s internal audit department.

She will report directly to Bo Magnusson, Swedbank's vice chairman of the board and chairman of the audit committee.

KBC Group

KBC Group NV appointed its head of transformation and customer experience, Jo Reynaerts, to a new position of chief commercial officer at unit KBC Bank Ireland PLC, effective Jan. 6, 2020, The Irish Times reported.

ABN Amro

ABN Amro Bank NV appointed Laetitia Griffith to its supervisory board as a member for a four-year tenure until its 2024 annual general meeting.

Landolt & Cie

Switzerland-based Landolt & Cie SA's chairman of the board, Pierre Landolt, and board member Thierry Lombard stepped down from their roles amid a strategy shift under which the board is being shrunk to four members from nine, finews.com reported, citing Swiss daily Le Temps.

The Swiss wealth manager named Yann Wermeille its new chairman, according to the report.

Intesa Sanpaolo

Intesa Sanpaolo SpA said board director Corrado Gatti will be on voluntary suspension from Dec. 13, 2019, to March 31, 2020, for personal reasons. Gatti will also be on suspension from his role as a member of the management control committee during the aforementioned period.
