Terra Tech director resigns due to disagreement

Terra Tech Corp. said Ken VandeVrede resigned from the company's board.

According to VandeVrede's resignation letter, his decision was the result of a disagreement related to the company's operations, policies and practices.

Terra Tech believes VandeVrede's resignation was related to his termination as the company's chief agricultural officer on April 13.

In addition, the company earlier filed a lawsuit against VandeVrede in the U.S. District Court of Central District of California for alleged breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, conversion, fraud, breach of covenant of good faith and fair dealing, misappropriation of trade secrets, and conspiracy related to a share exchange agreement for the acquisition of Edible Garden Corp. on April 24, 2013.

He was sued along with Michael VandeVrede, Steven VandeVrede, Daniel VandeVrede, Greda VandeVrede, Beverly Willekes, Brian VandeVrede, Gro-Rite Inc. and Naturally Beautiful Plant Products LLC.

Irvine, Calif.-based Terra Tech is a cannabis-focused agriculture company.
