China Everbright Bank names vice chairman, independent director

China Everbright Bank Co. Ltd. elected Wu Lijun vice chairman of its board and nominated Li Yinquan an independent nonexecutive director.

Wu will assume his office after the bank receives approval from the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission for his appointment qualification as a nonexecutive director. Li's appointment is subject to approval by shareholders and the CBIRC, the bank said Dec. 20.
