Fevertree Drinks H1 profit climbs YOY

Fevertree Drinks PLC said its first-half normalized net income amounted to 4 Great British pence per share, a gain from 1 pence per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was £4.1 million, a gain from £802,790 in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 61.9% year over year to £24.1 million from £14.9 million, and total operating expenses climbed 57.6% from the prior-year period to £17.3 million from £11.0 million.

Reported net income increased on an annual basis to £5.2 million, or 4 pence per share, from £655,360, or 1 pence per share.
