Daimaru Enawin Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, was ¥3.83 per share, an increase from 48 sen per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥30.0 million, a gain from ¥3.8 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 0.7% from 0.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue fell on an annual basis to ¥4.29 billion from ¥4.50 billion, and total operating expenses decreased 5.6% on an annual basis to ¥4.26 billion from ¥4.51 billion.
Reported net income came to ¥20.0 million, or ¥2.55 per share, compared to a loss of ¥11.0 million, or a loss of ¥1.40 per share, in the prior-year period.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
