MetLife shakes up management in finance group

MetLifeInc. appointed Marlene Debel executive vice president and CFO U.S. aspart of organizational changes it implemented within its finance group.

Executive vice president and CFO Americas Mike Walsh isretiring from the company.

JohnMcCallion will assume Debel's role as executive vice president andtreasurer. Ed Spehar, senior vice president and head of investor relations,will assume McCallion's role as senior vice president and CFO Europe, MiddleEast and Africa.

The changes are effective July 1.
