Wells Fargo names COO for reorganized wholesale banking biz

Wells Fargo & Co. named Richard Yorke COO for its reorganized wholesale banking arm, which will incorporate its international group business.

Yorke was head of the international group business. He will also work on an interim special assignment as part of the company's resubmission efforts for its 2016 resolution plan, focusing on the development of a revised legal entity oversight plan.

The reorganization was made to simplify operations, according to a Jan. 19 news release.
