Yuanta Securities Korea to issue up to 1 trillion won of bonds

Yuanta Financial Holdings Co. Ltd. unit Yuanta Securities Korea Co. Ltd. plans to issue up to 1 trillion South Korean won of electronic short-term bonds in 2018.

The bonds will have a tenor of between one day and one year, with its coupon rate subject to market conditions.

The issue period for the bonds is Jan. 1, 2018, to Dec. 31, 2018, and proceeds from the issuance will be used to fund the company's business operations.

As of Dec. 6, US$1 was equivalent to 1,094.25 South Korean won.
