Dusit Thani Public Co. Ltd said its normalized net income for the second quarter came to a loss of 3 satang per share, compared with a loss of 5 satang per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of 26.6 million baht, compared with a loss of 40.5 million baht in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to negative 2.2% from negative 3.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew 8.4% on an annual basis to 1.18 billion baht from 1.09 billion baht, and total operating expenses increased 6.8% from the prior-year period to 1.25 billion baht from 1.17 billion baht.
Reported net income came to a loss of 41.3 million baht, or a loss of 5 satang per share, compared to a loss of 66.3 million baht, or a loss of 8 satang per share, in the prior-year period.
