* N. Marc Satterthwaite resigned from the board of Louisville, Ky.-based Porter Bancorp Inc., effective immediately.

Satterthwaite is relocating to Sydney, Australia, in connection with his executive duties at Brown-Forman Corp.

* HSBC Private Bank named Bill Shannon head of the central region. HSBC Private Bank is a part of McLean, Va.-based HSBC Bank USA NA, a unit of HSBC Holdings Plc.

* Chris Casciato notified Bend, Ore.-based Cascade Bancorp and unit Bank of the Cascades of his decision to resign from their boards, effective immediately. He is a managing director and member of the investment committee of Lightyear Capital, according to a regulatory filing.

Casciato's resignation did not result from any disagreement with the company.

*Cambridge, Mass.-based Cambridge Bancorp and unit Cambridge Trust Co. appointed Jennifer Pline executive vice president and head of wealth management-elect, effective Jan. 30.

Pline has previously served as managing director and chief trusts and gifts officer at Harvard Management Co. Inc. from 2005 to 2016. She will succeed Michael Duca, who is retiring at the end of February.
