NorthWest Healthcare pulls in C$141.2M in bought-deal offering

NorthWest HealthcareProperties REIT raised roughly C$141.2 million in gross proceeds ina bought-deal offeringof units and debentures.

The offering, including the full exercise by the underwritersof their overallotment options, comprised 6,785,000 trust units issued at C$9.80apiece and C$74.75 million aggregate principal amount of 5.25% convertible debentures.

The REIT's largest unit holder, NorthWest Value Partners Inc.,and certain members of management, also acquired a combined C$5 million of unitsat the offering price in a private placement, bringing the unit holder's interestin the REIT to about 29.4%.

The company is using the net proceeds as partial funding forits strategic investments in Australia and New Zealand, and for its of two hospitals in Brazil.

The syndicate of underwriters for the offering was co-led byRBC Capital Markets, BMO Capital Markets and National Bank Financial.
