Japan's Daiwa Energy & Infrastructure Co. Ltd. has agreed to acquire a 40% stake in German investment manager Aquila Capital Investmentgesellschaft Mbh.
If approved by regulatory authorities, Aquila will retain the leadership of its founding partners Roman Rosslenbroich and Dieter Rentsch, both majority stake owners, according to a Dec. 5 press release.
Aquila, which mainly invests in renewable energy assets, manages approximately €9.5 billion for its clients and has a presence in 12 countries.
