China Vanke Co. Ltd. saw a year-over-year improvement in its contracted sales for July, recording growth to 35.56 billion yuan from 27.44 billion yuan.

For the reporting month, the company recorded sales area at 2,491,000 square meters, up year on year from 2,077,000 square meters.

Year-to-July, China Vanke's sales amounted to 312.74 billion yuan, representing sales area of 21,176,000 square meters.

Since its sales update in June, the company purchased 20 development projects and five logistics properties.

As of Aug. 2, US$1 was equivalent to 6.72 Chinese yuan.
