Loblaw recalls pork product with undeclared allergen

Canadian food retailer Loblaw Cos. Ltd. said Jan. 6 that it is conducting a recall of select pork loin roast sold at a number of stores due to the undeclared presence of mustard, a known allergen.

The recall covers select 730-gram units of PC Maple Apple Seasoned Pork Loin Roast with UPC code 060383206635 and use-by date of Jan. 10.

The product was sold from Dec. 16, 2019, through Jan. 6 at a number of Loblaw-branded and Loblaw-owned stores in Ontario, Quebec, Atlantic and Western Canada.

Loblaw said all affected products have been taken off of store shelves. Customers are advised to return the product to their place of purchase for a full refund.
