Production at Hochschild Mining Plc's Pallancata silver mine in Peru has been temporarily halted due to a road blockade by members of a local community demanding the renegotiation of existing agreements for land easements.

The company on Dec. 15 said its production and cost guidance for 2016 will not be affected.

Hochschild added that it is in discussions with the relevant parties.
