WarnerMedia reshuffles top APAC management

Jonathan Spink is stepping down as CEO of HBO Asia under a management restructure at Warner Media LLC's Asia-Pacific business, The Drum reported.

WarnerMedia Entertainment Networks appointed Ricky Ow president, distribution and advertising sales of APAC, uniting Turner Asia Pacific and HBO Asia. Ow, formerly president of Turner Asia Pacific, will now oversee all entertainment networks, distribution of all networks, advertising sales and the kids networks operations in the Asia-Pacific region.

In addition, Clement Schwebig was promoted to managing director, WarnerMedia Entertainment Networks, Southeast Asia, Pacific and China. The company also tapped Jamie Friend, senior vice president and CFO for Europe, Middle East and Africa at WarnerMedia Entertainment Networks, to also lead financial planning and analysis for its Asia-Pacific operations.

Annabel Archer and Lawrence Yuen will provide support to the revamped organization as regional legal counsels for Asia-Pacific, according to the report.
