Ameriprise Financial issues $500M in senior notes

Ameriprise Financial Inc. issued $500 million principal amount of 3.000% senior notes due 2022.

Interest on these notes will accrue at an annual rate of 3.000%, and it will payable semi-annually in arrears on each March 22 and Sept. 22, commencing Sept. 22, 2019.

The company may redeem the notes at any time or from time to time at a redemption price, plus accrued and unpaid interest to the date of redemption.
