Baidu shares slip amid concerns over death linked to online search

Share priceof Chinese search engine Baidu continue to drop followingthe death of a student linked to an online search, the South China Morning Post reported May 4.

Wei Zexi, who died last month from a rare form of cancer,reportedly sought treatment from a hospital that came on top of the list of hisBaidu web search. Baidu has come under fire for allegedly selling listings tobidders without adequately checking their claims.

Baidu, which has about an 80% share of China's online searchmarket, is currently being investigated by Chinese regulatory bodies.
