Wilmington, Del.-based The Bancorp Inc. appointed Keith Owes as managing director and chief risk officer. Additionally, the company named Michael Althouse as managing director and chief compliance officer.

Owes most recently was risk and business control executive for global technology and operations at Bank of America Corp., while Althouse was deputy chief compliance officer and head of compliance advisory at Barclays US Consumer Bank.


Bar Harbor, Maine-based Bar Harbor Bank & Trust promoted Torrie Lalime to vice president and internal audit manager.

Bar Harbor Bankshares is the parent company of Bar Harbor Bank & Trust.


San Diego-based Seacoast Commerce Bank hired Steven Brown as senior vice president and Small Business Administration business development officer. Brown joins the bank with over 20 years of small-business lending experience.

Seacoast Commerce Banc Holdings is the parent company of Seacoast Commerce Bank.


Fitzgerald, Ga.-based Colony Bankcorp Inc. hired Hugh Hollar for the newly created position of senior vice president and director of the homebuilder finance division.

Hollar most recently was senior vice president and director of East Georgia homebuilder finance for Cadence Bank NA.


Portland, Ore.-based Umpqua Holdings Corp. promoted Lisa White, senior vice president and bank controller of unit Umpqua Bank, to senior vice president and corporate controller of the company and the bank, effective Jan. 1, 2020. White was also named principal accounting officer for the company.

Executive Vice President and Treasurer Neal McLaughlin will continue as treasurer of the company and the bank but will step down as the principal accounting officer Jan. 1, 2020.


TD Bank US Holding Co. added J. Mansisidor, Stephanie Arcelay and Jim Webster to its residential lending team.

Mansisidor and Webster join from Fulton Mortgage Co. where they most recently served as senior loan officer and mortgage loan officer, respectively. Arcelay joins the bank from SunTrust Mortgage Inc. where she was vice president of mortgage lending and doctor loan specialist.


Providence, R.I.-based Citizens Financial Group Inc. Head of Consumer Banking Brad Conner is set to retire, effective March 3, 2020, the Pittsburgh Business Times reported.

Conner will be succeeded by Brendan Coughlin who currently leads consumer deposits and lending.

Additionally, Chief Marketing Officer Beth Johnson was promoted to chief experience officer, effective Jan. 27, 2020.

Financial services

American Express Co. elected Lynn Pike to its board, effective Jan. 1, 2020. Pike most recently was president of Capital One Bank (USA) NA.


Farmer Mac added Daniel Shaw to its board. Shaw has served on the board of AgriBank FCB since 2014.


Sachem Capital Corp. director Jeffrey Villano resigned from his position, effective Dec. 11.


BMS Capital Advisory Inc. appointed Alex Orloff as director of capital markets analytics. Orloff is the founder of independent financial services advisory firm Sybella Research.
