Virgin Media CFO Robert Dunn will move to a new role at Liberty Global PLC, the Financial Times reported, citing an internal memo.
In his new role at Virgin Media's parent company, Dunn will look at potential full-fiber broadband infrastructure investments in the U.K.
The move is in line with Liberty Global's plan to create a joint venture to install new fiber lines outside Virgin Media's coverage.
Dunn's transfer, after being Virgin Media's CFO since 2013, has caused a shake-up at the British internet service provider, the FT said.
Bill Castell, Dunn's deputy, has been named acting CFO.
