J. Thomas Johnson will retire as president and CEO of Greer, S.C.-based Citizens Building and Loan MHC, effective Dec. 31, GreerToday.com reported Nov. 14, citing Citizens Building and Loan Board Chairman Ralph Johnson III.

According to the report, he will continue to serve as a consultant to the company after his retirement.

Jennifer Jones, an executive vice president of the company, will replace Johnson, the publication said.
