Generali acquires Polish life, nonlife insurers from German shareholders

Generali has acquired full control of Poland's Concordia Capital SA and Concordia Polska TUW from German shareholders Concordia Versicherung and Vereinigte Hagelversicherung VVaG.

The initial agreements with the shareholders were signed in May. The final agreement was signed Nov. 29.

Concordia Capital is a life insurance company that serves individuals and businesses. Concordia Polska is a nonlife insurer.
