TrustCo Bank promotes 2 execs; S&T Bank names SVP

Jeff Forbis has retired as head of Winston-Salem, N.C.-based BB&T Corp.'s corporate banking energy team. Forbis started and led the group for more than seven years.

Forbis is succeeded by Executive Vice President Mark Grover. Grover will manage BB&T's energy lending practice on top of his ongoing management of the company's corporate banking team in the Southwest.

William Grant III joined the board of Lafayette, La.-based MidSouth Bancorp Inc.

Grant, 69, is currently an organizer and founding director of New York-based Grasshopper Bank NA.

Indiana, Pa.-based S&T Bank named Paula Berezansky senior vice president and financial intelligence group officer.

Berezansky's experience includes working at the National Drug Intelligence Center of the U.S. Department of Justice.

Glenville, N.Y.-based TrustCo Bank Corp NY, the parent of TrustCo Bank, promoted Kevin Curley and Michael Ozimek to executive vice president.

Curley currently has oversight of the bank's operations and branch administration departments. Ozimek has been CFO since 2014 and will continue in that role.
