ComcastCorp. is reshuffling its executives in the technology andoperations management, Multichannel Newsreported July 13, citing people with insider knowledge.

The reported changes will see Comcast veteran and currentexecutive vice president of sales and marketing operations Greg Butz becomepresident of Comcast Mobile. He will report to Comcast Cable CEO Neil Smit.Butz will be replaced by Rick Lang, the current senior vice president marketingand sales of Comcast's Central Division.

Executive Vice President and Chief Network Officer JohnSchanz will reportedly be moving to the investment fund in an advisory role. He willadvise Atairos regarding potential technology investments. Tony Werner,president of technology and product, and Marcien Jenckes, executive vicepresident consumer services, will take over Schanz's current responsibilities,according to the report.

Executive Vice President and Cable CFO Cathy Avgiris, whohas been with the company for 23 years, will reportedly take on the role ofinterim global risk officer. Her new responsibilities will also includeco-chairing many of the company's committees as well as being a consultant.Steve Croney, senior vice president financial planning, will succeed her as theCFO.
